Spread the word….
Guess
santa forgot the children on green pastures what a santa guess he only goes to certain kids what a shame.
I agree with you! We live in the green pastures area and it made me mad because my son would love to see Santa but oh well what can we do.
Well said ladies…..
I for one appreciate what the Kyle FD does…they DON’T have to do this…it’s for the community. I’m sorry that GP isn’t on the route but if you notice, Downtown Kyle as well as HEB/Target ARE on this route for December 21. It might take some effort on your part (I had to put effort in during the holidays when my kids were little to do the things I wanted them to remember) but it is doable…shame on y’all for knocking something these awesome people are doing! Thank you Kyle FD!!
Here’s a little poem I wrote following your visit on the 12th. Wasn’t sure until now where to send it to show my appreciation.
Just watching TV last night, as usual – – – –
When out in the street there arose such alarm
That I sprang from my chair to assess the harm.
Out the front door I flew into the night
To see a huge fire truck with sirens and lights.
It stopped just a few houses down on my street.
And then round the corner came 2 more – so neat!
By this time I realized that there were no dangers.
Music filled the air and the trucks held no strangers.
I saw Santa Claus riding the mid truck so high
And I waved both my arms as they all went by!
For just a few moments I was a child in my heart
And the neighbors all cheered to do their part.
It was over in a flash, the street quiet once more
But we all got a glimpse of the excitement in store!
There was no time at all to catch a quick photo
And everyone knows that ol’ Santa’s a pro.
He slips through the night spreading love and cheer
And lives in our hearts the rest of the year.
What a wonderful surprise this was! Thank you Kyle Fire and EMS for your dedication, for brightening up our night and spreading some holiday cheer. I love living in this little community.
Merry Christmas, everybody!
